A lottery allows all applicants an equal opportunity to gain admission to the charter school. Priority (that is, pre-lottery admission), can be granted to siblings of current students, siblings of children who win the lottery, former students, the children of faculty members and the children of Charter Committee members, up to twenty percent of the enrollment. Once the lottery period closes, parents may still apply and will be admitted on a space-available basis.
The lottery period is open for the 2020-2021 school year. Parents interested in a place for their child post-lottery may contact the school at to inquire about available spaces for the remainder of this school year.
The Wait List shows the sequence of children waiting for a space at MSC in order chosen during the lottery held on April 1, 2019 with those applying after that date added in order of the date and time the school received the application. MSC features multi-age classrooms with a three-year span instead of grades, and the lists below reflect the terms for those levels: Primary (ages 3-6), Lower Elementary (ages 6-9), Upper Elementary (ages 9-12) and Secondary (ages 12-15). Children are listed by initials only.
