Head of School Opening

The Montessori School of Camden is seeking a new Head of School. The School is located in

Camden, South Carolina, a charming small town located approximately thirty minutes outside

Columbia. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and resume along with three letters

of reference.

Applicants must have at least five years of teaching experience and one year of experience in

education administration. Applicants must hold a master’s degree in the field of education, with a

doctoral degree preferred. Montessori certification is not required but is preferred. The School is

seeking applicants who are experienced in the State’s educational standards and who have strong

leadership and organizational skills. Experience working in South Carolina and/or the Southeast

is preferred.

The salary range will be between $65,000 and $75,000, commensurate with qualifications and

experience. The School also provides a competitive benefits package. Finalists will be subject to

a credit check and a full NCIC criminal background check. Interested applicants are encouraged
